Overview
As a member of the technical team, you are responsible for:
- Installation and configuration: Setting up the technical infrastructure (servers, databases, IIS) and installing the APS platform
- Security and authentication: Configuring authentication mechanisms (AD, SAML, OAuth2), encryption and ensuring GDPR compliance
- System integrations: Connecting APS to existing information systems (Office 365, ERP, CRM) via APIs and web services
- Maintenance and support: Ensuring updates, backups, monitoring and level 2/3 technical support
- Optimization and resolution: Diagnosing problems, optimizing performance and resolving incidents
Recommended Reading Order
For optimal technical mastery of APS, we recommend following this order:
- Start with technical prerequisites - Understand the recommended architecture, system requirements (servers, databases, third-party licenses)
- Then the installation guides - Install the platform (automated or manual mode), configure IIS, HTTPS and initialize databases
- Next security and authentication - Configure authentication (AD, SAML, OAuth2) and encryption (TLS, TDE)
- Explore system integrations - Connect APS to third-party systems (Office 365, web services, external databases)
- Master backups and archiving - Set up backup and restoration strategies
- Deepen updates and maintenance - Manage version upgrades, preventive maintenance and performance optimization
- Finally support and resolution - Use diagnostic tools, consult the knowledge base and FAQ to resolve incidents
This approach follows the technical lifecycle of a project: from initial installation to ongoing maintenance, through security and integrations.
