QDM Welcome Portal

The Portal is your central entry point for accessing all documents and features of Quality Document Manager. It offers a customizable and intuitive interface enabling quick access to essential information.

Available widgets​

Widgets and indicators

The portal offers several configurable widgets according to your profile and needs:

Document widgets​

  • My documents to process: Documents awaiting your action (validation, revision, etc.)
  • Recently viewed documents: Quick access to your latest consultations
  • My favorite documents: Documents marked as favorites
  • New publications: Latest documents published within your scope

Distribution widgets​

  • My pending acknowledgment receipts: Documents requiring your AR
  • My questionnaires to complete: Ongoing evaluations
  • My active campaigns: Distribution campaigns concerning you

Information widgets​

  • News: Feed of important communications from the organization
  • Personal statistics: Your document activity

Portal news​

A News section displays important communications from your organization.

Features:

  • Chronological news feed
  • Mark as "Read"
  • Automatic archiving
  • Types: new publications, regulatory changes, training, communications

You can customize your portal according to your preferences:

Quick access to modules​

The main menu provides quick access to all modules:

  • Document Management: Main document management
  • External Repository: Knowledge base and external document repository
  • Questionnaires: Evaluations and tests
  • Administration: Configuration (according to rights)

Global search bar: Permanently available at the top of the portal to quickly search for any document, record or information.

Visual navigation​

Depending on your organization's configuration, visual navigation may be available to facilitate document access.

Visual navigation principle​

Document mapping

Visual navigation allows you to browse your documentation in a graphical and intuitive way, including:

  • Process navigation: Graphical visualization of business processes with direct access to associated documents
  • Document mapping: Visual representation of the document tree structure
  • Interactive organization chart: Access to documents by department or function

Usage​

If visual navigation is enabled in your application:

  1. Access the Visual navigation or Mapping menu
  2. Click on interactive areas (processes, departments, categories)
  3. Associated documents are automatically displayed
  4. Select the desired document to view it

This feature is particularly useful for:

  • New users discovering the documentation
  • Searching by business domain without knowing exact references
  • Understanding the overall document organization
  • Presentations and training on document structure

Note: The availability and configuration of visual navigation depends on the settings configured by your functional administrator.
