Understanding forms

Avanteam forms are structured to facilitate data entry.

Form structure​

Form example with tabs

  • Required fields: Indicated by a red asterisk (*). Saving is impossible until they are filled in.
  • Tabs: The form is often divided into tabs (e.g.: Identity sheet, License, Validation workflow) to organize information by theme.
  • Calculated fields: Certain areas are grayed out and fill automatically (e.g.: Creation date, Author, automatic calculations).
