Record Check-in/Check-out

This is a security mechanism for collaborative work.

Check-out (Locking)

As soon as you click Edit, the document is reserved for you.

• A lock icon appears for other users, indicating that you are working on it.
• They cannot modify it until you have released it.

Check-in (Release)

The document is automatically unlocked when you click Save or Cancel.
